WASHINGTON: Legendary American professional boxer late Muhammad Ali's 1974 'Rumble in the Jungle' belt has been sold out for $6.18 million.
According to the details, American professional football club - Indianapolis Colts' - owner Jim Isray announced purchase of the belt on Twitter.
'Rumble in the Jungle' belt, the memory of great victory by Ali over Foreman with an eighth-round knockout to reclaim the world heavyweight crown, will be shown at an August show of Isray's collection in Chicago.
Later on, the belt will be shown in Indianapolis, a US state of Indiana.
The sale price early Sunday through Heritage Auctions, reported by Sports Collectors Daily, was called among the highest prices ever paid for a sports memorabilia item.
