Foreign players will not participate in KPL season 2: sources

ISLAMABAD: Foreign cricketers will not participate in the upcoming Kashmir Premier League (KPL) season 2, sources told Geo News. 

According to the sources, most foreign cricketers will be busy with their international assignments. Hence, their participation in KPL 2 will not be possible. 

However, KPL management has opened up the players' registration process. They invited both foreign and local players to register themselves for KPL 2 players' draft. 

Initially, the players' draft for KPL 2 will take place after Eid-ul-Adha. The event is scheduled to take place from August 1 to 14 in Muzaffarad. 

With the addition of seventh team named Jamu Janbaz, KPL 2 will go ahead as scheduled after getting No-Objection Certificate from PCB.
