Sarfaraz Ahmed scores half-century in intra-squad practice match

RAWALPINDI: Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed seemed to gain his form back as he scored half-century in a two-day intra-squad practice match here at Pindi Cricket Stadium. 

Sarfaraz, who got demoted to D category in newly announced central contracts, scored 51 off 81 balls including six boundaries and a six. Apart from Sarfaraz, Fawad Alam scored back-to-back fifties, managing to score 53 including five boundaries this time around. 

Agha Salman made unbeaten 69 off 80 balls laced with eight boundaries whereas Mohammad Nawaz scored 54. 

Test captain Babar Azam fell for 44 that also includes five boundaries and two sixes. 

Agha, Nauman Ali and Nawaz picked up a wicket each.
