Pakistan finish World Continental Championship with six medals

KAZAKHSTAN: Pakistan team finished with six medals in the World Continental Championship that took place here on June 26 and 27. 

Shajar Abbas bagged gold in 100m whereas bronze in 200m. Also, he made a new national record in 100m, covering the distance in a record time (10.41s). 

Sohail Amir won a silver each in 1500m and 5000m. Sharoz Khan bagged silver in high jump followed by Mueed Baloch grabbing bronze in 400m. Shah Nawaz secured fifth position in discus throw.

Earlier, Pakistan secured the third position in Imam Reza Cup in Iran last month.
