KARACHI: India captain Rohit Sharma returned a positive Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) ahead of India's last Test match of the series against England, the BCCI confirmed Sunday.
"He (Rohit) is currently in isolation at the team hotel and is under the care of the BCCI Medical Team," the BCCI said.
Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin tested positive for the virus in India before departing for England.
Beginning on July 1, Edgbaston will host the Test match between England and India. The series, which ended due to COVID-19 last year and concludes with this Test match.
