LAHORE: A total of 15 players from Pakistan's contingent will undergo a dope test before the upcoming Commonwealth Games, scheduled from July 28 to August 8.
According to sources, Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) and Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) will bear the expenses of the tests. PSB to pay for 10 athletes whereas POA for five.
Players of Judo, weightlifters, athletes, wrestlers, and two players each from hockey and squash will give their dope tests. Whereas, women cricketers were exempted from the test earlier.
For the first time in Commonwealth Games history, women's cricket has been included in the disciplines.
