BAYERN: FC Bayern Munich Wednesday completed the signing of Sadio Mane, who agreed to a three-year deal for a 40.75 million euros from Liverpool.

The Reds will get 32 million euros, with an additional 6 million euros for appearances and 3 million euros for both individual and group accomplishments.

Before agreeing to a price for Senegal forward, who was under contract until next summer, Liverpool rejected two offers from Bayern.

"This is the right time for this challenge," said the 30-year-old.

"I felt the great interest of this big club from the start, so there was no doubt in my mind."

Mane left Southampton for Liverpool in June 2016. He scored 120 goals in 269 games, concluding the previous season with 23 goals overall.

In addition to scoring the game-winning penalty in February to help Senegal win the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time, Mane assisted Liverpool in winning both the Champions League and the Premier League.

Darwin Nunez, a forward from Uruguay, was acquired by Liverpool from Benfica last week for an initial fee of £64 million.
