LAHORE: Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) contacted the federal government to get a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for participation in T20 World Cup, scheduled in India later this year from December 4 to 17.

As confirmed by PBCC's chairman Sultan Shah, Pakistan's participation in the mega event will only be finalised once the government issues NOC.

"We have contacted government for NOC," Shah told Geo News. "We will only confirm our participation in T20 World Cup in India once we get NOC from government," the chairman added.

Shah vowed to prepare a strong team for the extravaganza. "We are ready to start preparations for the mega event. As soon as we receive the NOC, we will start preparations," he said.

"We have already started preparing a strong team for the event," he concluded.
