KARACHI: Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE programming on the 6/17 episode of "SmackDown," attacking Roman Reigns after the latter's successful defense of the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship over Riddle.

Following the show's conclusion, WWE revealed that Reigns will defend his belts against Lesnar in the main event of this year's SummerSlam premium live event on July 30 in the Last Man Standing fight.

This past April, Reigns beat Lesnar in the main event of night two of WrestleMania 38, a match that united both Reigns' Universal Title and Lesnar's WWE Title.

'The Head of The Table' and 'The Beast Incarnate' have faced off eight times in total, including five singles battles, two triple threat matches, and one fatal four-way encounter, with two times at SummerSlam.

In 2017, 'The Beast' successfully defended the WWE Championship against Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Samoa Joe in a fatal four-way match at SummerSlam, in which Lesnar kept his title.

Roman Reigns won the WWE Championship by defeating Brock Lesnar in the main event of SummerSlam 2018.

WWE SummerSlam will be held at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday, July 30.
