Liverpool have agreed to sell Sadio Mane to Bundesliga winners Bayern Munich for 41 million euros.

The Reds will receive a fixed 32 million euros, plus a further 6 million euros based on appearances and 3 million euros based on individual and team successes.

Liverpool rebuffed two bids from Bayern Munich before accepting their most recent offer for the 30-year-old, whose contract with the Reds was set to expire next summer.

In 2016, he joined Liverpool from Southampton for £31 million-plus £2.5 million in add-ons.

Mane has scored 90 Premier League goals for Liverpool since then, and he concluded last season with 23 goals in all competitions.

Mane, along with fellow forwards Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, also 30, has been instrumental in Liverpool's recent success.

The trio assisted the team in winning the Champions League in 2019 and ending a 30-year drought for the league title the following season.

Mane has also had an outstanding year, winning the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal before helping Liverpool win the Carabao Cup and FA Cup, as well as finishing runners-up in the Premier League and Champions League.

Mane is anticipated to replace Robert Lewandowski at Bayern Munich, after being linked with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona.
