LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) Director National High-Performance Centre (NHPC) Nadeem Khan Friday revealed that the board has found more than 20 bowlers who can bowl at speed of more than 140 kmph.

Talking exclusively to Geo News, Nadeem said: "The PCB has decided to set up a specialized camp at the High-Performance Center. The conditioning camp experience has been successful. Now we are planning a specialized camp.

"There are already more than 20 bowlers who can bowl at a speed of 140 kilometers per hour. These fast bowlers are between the ages of 19 and 24."

He also stated that a foreign development coach will be appointed to assist the growth of the bowlers. As a result, Pakistan's quick bowling problem will be remedied in the next ten years.

When asked about Mohammad Hasnain, Nadeem expressed gratitude to the National High-Performance Center's coaches for assisting the young bowler in refining his bowling action.

"In the past, outside consultants were hired to correct the action, but this time Omar Rasheed worked with Mohammad Hasnain. More work needs to be done with him because Hasnain cleared his action, but now he has to get used to it," he concluded.
