ISLAMABAD: The PCB hasn't planned anything as of yet to approach other cricket boards against BCCI's proposal to get two-and-a-half-month free window for IPL in upcoming new Future Tours Program (FTP).

According to the sources, PCB hasn't talked about this matter as of yet. "PCB has no planning as of yet to oppose IPL's two-and-a-half-month free window idea," sources told Geo News.

"Even, FTP 2024-2031 hasn't been finalized as of yet. So, how can PCB plan against it? They will wait for things to get finalized firstly," the source maintained.

On Wednesday, Indian media reported that BCCI has asked two-and-a-half-month free window for IPL in the new ICC FTP. Later on, the Indian board confirmed the reports of proposing for separate window for their cash-rich league.

It must be noted here that Pakistani players aren't a part of IPL since 2009. They just participated in the inaugural season of the first-ever franchise cricket league in 2008.
