PAK vs WI 2022: FIR likely to be filed against a fan who enters ground

MULTAN: A fan, identified as Mohammad Waqas, was taken to a local police station after he ran into the ground, breaching security protocols during second Pakistan vs West Indies ODI here at Multan Cricket Stadium on Friday. 

According to the sources, First Information Report (FIR) is likely to be filed against Waqas who was first interrogated by local SHO for more than an hour.

Later on, he was taken to the police station via police van. 

A PCB official told Geo Super that neither PCB nor ICC have any law to deal with this case. However, local authorities are directed to deal with this matter. 

It must be noted here that a fan named Waqas ran into the pitch where he did salute to Shadab Khan and hugged him. On his way back, Waqas showed immense excitement while doing a stunt. He was taken into the custody on the boundary rope and kept in a separate room for more than an hour.
