SWITZERLAND: Pakistan beat Poland by 4-2 to start the FIH five-a-side Hockey tournament on a high note.
In their opening match, Pakistani players were on song as they started attacking opponents from the very start.
In the 4th minute, Murtaza Yaqoob scored a goal to take an early lead over opponents. Abu Zar scored a hat-trick, netting the ball in 7th, 13th and 15th minute of the game.
Pakistan finished the first quarter with 4-0 lead. From Poland, Wojciech and Robert scored a goal each.
Pakistan will now play their next match against arch-rivals India at 8pm PST. Tomorrow (June 5), Pakistan will play their match against home side Switzerland at 5pm (PST) whereas against Malaysia at 7pm (PST).
