BOSTON: Bam Adebayo scored 31 points to help the Miami Heat win the Boston Celtics 109-103 in the Eastern Conference play-off final, giving his team a 2-1 lead.

For his team, Adebayo also had 10 rebounds, six assists, and four steals.

The Celtics, who trailed by 26 points at one point, came to within a point late in the game, 93-92, but the Heat held on for a road victory.

Adebayo led his team in scoring, and his outstanding effort was crucial for the Heat, who were missing Jimmy Butler for the second half due to knee irritation.

The Celtics had 23 turnovers, resulting in 33 points for the Heat, who only had eight.

Jayson Tatum, the home team's star player, only managed 10 points, with Jaylen Brown leading the way with 40 points.

Boston hosts Game 4 of the best-of-seven series on Monday.

The Golden State Warriors lead the Dallas Mavericks 2-0 in the Western Conference playoffs and will play their third game on Sunday.
