WORCESTER: Pakistan Test batter Azhar Ali, who is representing Worcestershire County Cricket Club in the ongoing County Championship 2022, has scored 150 runs for the first time in his county cricket career.
Azhar had only made 34 runs in the first six innings of the tournament, but he got back on track and performed well against Derbyshire and Durham.
The 34-year-old has now scored his maiden century of the ongoing event and completed a 150-run knock for the first time in his county career against Leicestershire County Cricket Club.
The former Pakistan skipper completed his 150-run knock in 272 balls.
It should be mentioned here that Azhar has scored 7021 runs for the Pakistan Test team in 94 matches.
