After County Cricket, Mohammad Amir to play club cricket now

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir has been signed by East London's HornChurch Club for UK Club Cricket League. 

According to sources, Amir's services were acquired by HornChurch club after his contract for three matches with Gloucestershire ended. 

The left-arm pacer will represent the club in three matches, starting from Saturday. 

Earlier, Amir made his comeback to first-class cricket after two years. He was signed by Gloucestershire County as replacement of young Pakistani pacer Naseem Shah who was ruled out from the championship due to injury. 

Amir remained wicketless in his first outing this County Championship whereas made impressive comeback in the next match, taking six wickets.

Remember, Amir had taken retirement from international cricket.
