KARACHI: Pakistani star power-hitting batter Asif Ali has been blessed with a baby girl.
It should be mentioned here that Asif's first daughter, Noor Fatima, who was just 18-months old, had died after suffering from cancer in May 2019.
Taking to Twitter, Asif announced the birth of his newborn daughter.
"Mere Ghar Ayee Aik Nanhi Pari. Welcome to the World, Sweetheart!" wrote the 30-year-old.
Meanwhile, the right-handed batter's teammates Shadab Khan and Asif Ali have congratulated him as he welcomes the newborn.
Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan congratulated Asif and his wife on the birth of their daughter and wished good health, well-being, and long life filled with happiness for the newborn.
Pakistani Test batter Abid Ali also took to Twitter to congratulate Asif.
"Mashallah mashallah congratulations bhai," Abid wrote.
