KARACHI: At Sunday night's UNFP (French Professional Footballers' Union) gala, Kylian Mbappe revealed his decision about his future.
"It will be known very soon, it's almost done. My decision is made, yes, almost. I know that people expected a lot from me. That's normal. I'm in a hurry too. But it's not only about me.
"But here it is, it's finished right now, there are just some details left," Mbappe said at the event.
Meanwhile, according to Marca, after a comprehensive deal was reached last week, the French attacker will join Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer.
Everything that had been discussed in previous months had been agreed upon, and Mbappe has successfully withstood Paris Saint-urge Germain's to sign a new contract.
Florentino Perez's strategy has been evident throughout the season. He has kept Los Blancos in the background, believing in Mbappe's desire to play for the club.
The Real Madrid president has avoided direct communication with the 23-year-old, although he could have done so as of January 1.
