MANCHESTER: Manchester City have unveiled Sergio Aguero's statue to commemorate their first Premier League triumph ten years ago.
The monument, which was installed at the Etihad Stadium, commemorates Aguero's goal in the fourth minute of injury time in the 2011-12 season's last game.
City won their first Premier League championship in the Abu Dhabi period thanks to the goal.
Meanwhile, the Argentinian striker called the crucial goal the best moment in his life.
"It was the best moment of my life," said Aguero.
"For me, that moment changed my life, changed the club and everything. That moment always will be in my heart."
The galvanised steel monument of Argentine Aguero, created by artist Andy Scott, was unveiled on Friday, joining sculptures of other City icons Vincent Kompany and David Silva on the east side of the Etihad.
