Miami Heat beat Philadelphia 76ers as Dallas Mavericks draw even with Phoenix Suns

KARACHI: The Miami Heat advanced to the Eastern Conference finals with a 99-90 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, taking a 4-2 series lead.

In the Heat's triumph, Jimmy Butler scored 32 points and Max Strus contributed 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Luka Doncic scored 33 points to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 113-86 victory over the Phoenix Suns, tying the series at 3-3.

In an easy win for his team, Slovenian standout Doncic added 11 rebounds, eight assists, and four steals.

For the third time in the series, he has scored more than 30 points, and he has contributed more than 25 points in each of the six games.

In the Western Conference finals, the victor of the Mavericks vs. Suns matchup will face either the Golden State Warriors or the Memphis Grizzlies. That series is now 3-2 in favour of the Warriors.

Miami will face the Milwaukee Bucks or Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals.

The Bucks, who won the NBA championship last season, are up 3-2 in their first-round series.
