KARACHI: Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that midfielder Fabinho will miss the FA Cup final against Chelsea on Saturday.
In Tuesday's triumph over Aston Villa, the 28-year-old was forced off due to a hamstring injury.
Fabinho will miss the next two league games of the season as well, but Klopp is hopeful that he will be healthy for the Champions League final on May 28.
"We can cope," Klopp said when asked how the absence of the Brazilian will affect Liverpool's title prospects.
"We have to. Having him or not having him is a difference, but it is all fine. That's normal stuff that happens. It's never in a position where you have 12 options, and it's always in a position where you don't."
"There's a good chance he will be available for the Champions League final," he added.
Meanwhile, the German coach heaped praise on Jordan Henderson, who came off the bench to replace Fabinho, and Klopp has suggested that Henderson will keep his defensive midfield role at Wembley.
"Hendo came on and played incredibly. He has played super games this season at number six, so that is not a problem."
