KARACHI: Former Pakistan Test skipper Azhar Ali, who is representing Worcestershire County Cricket Club in the ongoing County Championship 2022, has not been able to perform in the event and his poor form continues.
Azhar has managed to reach double figures only once.
In the opening match against Leicestershire, the 37-year-old could only score 2 runs and 1 run in the first and second innings, respectively.
He scored his highest — 20 — against Sussex in the second match, while scoring 6 and 5 runs innings against Nottinghamshire in the third match.
The right-handed batter was sent packing for a zero during the fifth-round match against Durham.
