KARACHI: Australian Test captain Pat Cummins has said that he and the Aussie cricket team had a "lovely" BBQ during their historic visit to Pakistan.

In March, Australia played three Test matches in Pakistan, as well as an equal number of ODIs and a one-off T20I. During the Test series, the guest players were treated to a BBQ party, and grill facilities were accessible to them daily.

The 28-year-old is currently in India, representing Kolkata Knight Riders in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.

Cummins had asked Twitter users for recommendations for a delicious dinner meal in Mumbai.

A user advised him to come to Pakistan and enjoy the delicious food, to which the Aussie skipper responded by praising the barbecue in Pakistan and saying: "We had some lovely team BBQ's in Pakistan."

It is pertinent to mention here that Cummins had sustained an injury after leading Australia to a Test series victory. Due to this, he couldn't take part in the ODI series and one-off T20I.
