MINNESOTA: The Memphis Grizzlies rallied to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves and win the first round of the playoffs.
The Grizzlies came back from a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit to win 114-106 and establish a 4-point lead in the best-of-seven series.
Jaren Jackson Jr added 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Dillon Brooks and Desmond Bane both scored 23 points.
In the Western Conference semi-finals, which begin on Sunday, the second-seeded Grizzlies will meet the third-seeded Golden State Warriors.
The Grizzlies have moved through the playoffs for the first time in seven years.
Elsewhere, the Philadelphia 76ers were dealt a major injury setback as Joel Embiid was forced to sit out indefinitely.
During Friday's win against the Toronto Raptors, Embiid, one of the leading candidates for the Most Valuable Player award, sustained a right orbital bone fracture and a moderate concussion.
