UNITED STATES: After a gap of 30 years, the WWE stadium event is set to return to the United Kingdom's shores as the iconic Principality Stadium in the Welsh Capital — Cardiff — will host the event in September 3.
It should be noted that Principality Stadium is actually a rugby stadium and is also the home ground of the Wales national rugby union team.
Meanwhile, WWE, in a statement on its official website gave further details about the much-awaited event.
"The weekend will be filled with a variety of WWE experiences that we believe will leave a lasting memory, on par with SummerSlam at Wembley Stadium in 1992," the statement read.
"Wales will provide an iconic location for WWE's return to the UK after 30 years and showcase our country to a global audience of millions, including extended reach in the USA," said Welsh Government Minister for Economy Vaughan Gething.
