LAHORE: Despite Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, no more being the country's Prime Minister, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja is not planning to resign from his post, despite Shehbaz Sharif taking over.

According to sources, until he gets a message from the new government, Raja will continue to hold the position.

They further reported that if Raja resigns from the post, the former PCB chairman Najam Sethi's name will be considered for the position.

As per PCB's constitution, Pakistan's PM — who is the patron-in-chief of the board — recommends the chairman's name to the board of governors, who then vote for the candidate.
