KARACHI: Left-arm quick Mohammad Amir is likely to come out of retirement from international cricket.

According to sources, the reports emerged after development surfaced about Pakistan Cricket Board's chairman, stating that he has made up his mind to resign from his role.

If the PCB chairman resigns, then Amir is expected to come out of retirement.

Amir didn't take back his retirement due to Raja's tough stance and no-tolerance policy regarding fixers.

Amir had stated that he would take back his retirement after the departure of the then coaches, Waqar Younis and Misbah-ul-Haq.
