MUMBAI: Australian pacer Pat Cummins, who put up a sensational show both with the bat and the bowl to help Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) outclass Mumbai Indians by 5 wickets in this year's Indian Premier League (IPL) clash, has managed to win the hearts of many, as he unexpectedly shone with the bat with a 15-ball 56 runs.
And now, the KKR owner and Bollywood rockstar — Shah Rukh Khan — also didn't stay behind in heaping immense praise on Cummins.
By taking to his official Twitter handle, the KKR owner said that he wants to hug Cummins as the whole team did.
"Pat Cummins. I want to dance like Andre and hug u like the whole team did. Wow well done KKR, and what else is there to say!!!…’PAT’ DIYE CHAKKE!!!," he tweeted.
Meanwhile, Cummins also replied to his tweet with a funny emoji.
It is pertinent to mention that Cummins who took two wickets, was also exceptional with the willow, as he smacked six sixes and four fours and displayed pure traits of a proper batter with clean hitting to register the 2nd fastest IPL fifty.
