LAHORE: Bob Woolmer who worked as Pakistan team's head coach from 2004-07, has left an everlasting impression upon the country's cricket, as he is remembered even on his 15th death anniversary, with former batting great Mohammad Yousuf calling him "world's number-one coach."

It should be noted that Woolmer was found dead after Pakistan's shocking defeat against the underdogs Ireland in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 group match in West Indies.

"I consider Bob Woolmer as a number-one coach. He is at the top for me. He was a great guy, a great coach and a great motivator. He proved to be really good for me as my balance and my batting improved took giant steps under him," said Yousuf in a video on PCB's official Twitter handle.

"As a coach and a mentor, he had everything. He was a great motivator. He would always back his players, motivate them and would say things in such a manner that it never looked like someone had any kind of fault in their game," he added.

"According to me, he was the world's best coach," said Yousuf who is currently working as the Pakistan cricket team's batting coach.
