HAMILTON: Right-handed batter Sidra Ameen became first-ever Pakistani batter to score a century in ICC Women's World Cup. 

According to details, Sidra scored unbeaten 104 runs against Bangladesh in Women's World Cup contest on Monday. It was the first occasion when a Pakistani batter scored a century in World Cup. 

Earlier, Nahida Khan scored highest-ever 79 runs from Pakistan in the mega event. 

It must be noted here that Pakistan lost to Bangladesh by nine runs despite Nahida's century. The Green Shirts were handed their fourth consecutive defeat in the extravaganza.
