KARACHI: Former Test captain Zaheer Abbas is confident that Pakistani batters will adjust on National Stadium's pitch as they are used to of playing here.
In a conversation with Geo News, the Asian Bradman said playing spin on this pitch will be tough but Pakistani batters are used to of playing on it.
"Karachi's pitch has always supported spinners. It would be tough to face them here but I believe Pakistani batters are used to of playing in these conditions," he said.
"The play on third and fourth day here will obviously be tough. Both the teams have to plan it accordingly to dominate," he added.
Speaking about Australia's first-ever tour to Pakistan in last 24 years, the former cricketer said it is a huge opportunity for fans to witness some historic moments.
"The entire nation is happy to see Australia playing at home. Its a historic occasion and fans should come in numbers to support both the teams," he concluded.
It must be noted here that Abbas officially received his cap and plaque of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)'s Hall of Fame on Day 1 of the second Test.
