Waziristan-born Mohammad Wasim Jr is likely to make his Test debut against Australia in the opening Test

RAWALPINDI: Left-handed batter Imam-ul-Haq and right-hander Abdullah Shafiq will open the batting for Pakistan against Australia in the opening Test of three-match series, starting tomorrow [March 4].

According to sources, the team management has decided to play Abdullah and Imam as openers followed by skipper Babar Azam, Azhar Ali, Fawad Alam, and Mohammad Rizwan in the middle-order. 

Moreover, sources also revealed that Waziristan-born Mohammad Wasim Jr will make his Test debut against Australia tomorrow. 

Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead the bowling line which will include Naseem Shah and spinners Nauman Ali and Sajid Khan. 

The two sides will lock horns in a historic Test on Pakistan's soil tomorrow at 10 am.
