Nineteen-year-old pacer Naseem Shah has been included as the replacement of Haris Rauf in Pakistan's squad for the upcoming first Test against Australia as Rauf is ruled out after testing positive for the coronavirus.

Though Naseem was originally inducted as a travelling reserve, he has been included in the squad for the upcoming first Test against Australia in Rawalpindi, which will begin on March 4.

Haris will remain in isolation for five days and will reintegrate with the squad after a negative test at the end of his isolation period, a statement from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said.

The PCB, following Rauf’s positive test on Tuesday, said the rest of the squad members and support personnel were retested. All these tests have come out negative.
