Shaheen's father Ayaz Afridi expects Lahore Qalandars to perform well in the final as they did against Multan Sultans
Lahore Qalandars skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi's father Ayaz Afridi hopes that the Qalandars will win the Pakistan Super League's (PSL) final against Multan Sultans at the Gaddafi Stadium.
"I hope that Lahore Qalandars will win the final against Multan Sultans tonight," Ayaz Afridi told Geo News.
Ayaz praised his son Shaheen Afridi's performance so far in the PSL.
"Shaheen Shah's performance has been much better so far," he said.
Talking about Lahore Qalandars' performance, the skipper's father said that the Qalandars performed well against Islamabad United, and he expects them to play the same game in the final against Multan Sultans.
"Lahore Qalandar played a great game against Islamabad United, and the same performance is expected from the them today," he added.
Shaheen Afridi has been exceptional for Qalandars in the ongoing seventh edition of the PSL. Apart from his exploits with the bowl, he was as solid as ever behind in the captaincy role, playing a key role in Lahore Qalandars PSL campaign. The fiery left-arm bowler has taken 13 wickets so far.
