Lahore Qalandars star spinner Rashid Khan has confirmed that he won't be able to be part of the grand final of the ongoing seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

Rashid Khan had left PSL to join his national team for the series against Bangladesh.

Rashid Khan was brilliant for Lahore Qalandars in the league stage of the seventh edition of the PSL. The leg-spinner took 13 wickets for the Qalandars in nine matches played.

Earlier, there were rumours that Rashid will be available for Lahore Qalandars for the final of the PSL against Multan Sultans.

However, Rashid has denied the rumours, and said that he will be with his national team — Afghanistan — for the series against Bangladesh, which is Rashid's first priority.

The leg-spinner also wished Shaheen Afridi and Lahore Qalandars good luck for the mega final.

"It would’ve been great to be part of Lahore Qalandars and play alongside lads in the PSL final. I won’t be able to make it for the finals due to National Duty which is always a first priority," Rashid tweeted.

"I wish my captain Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sameen Rana and team Good Luck," he tweeted.

Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans will lock horns in the final of the ongoing seventh edition of the PSL at the Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday, 27 February.
