Peshawar Zalmi's young wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Haris has said he is "heartbroken" after the Yellow Storm exited from the ongoing seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) following defeat against Islamabad United at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
Peshawar Zalmi on Thursday lost against two-time champions Islamabad United in the first eliminator of the PSL, which confirmed their exit from the tournament.
Taking to Twitter, Haris apologized to Peshawar Zalmi fans and wished luck to the rest of the teams, who are fighting to clinch the title.
"Heartbreak for me and team, Peshawar Zalmi. Sorry to our fans for letting you down. Good luck to the remaining teams," Haris tweeted.
Haris was brilliant for Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL, scoring 166 runs in five matches for his team.
