Australia batter Marnus Labuschagne has said that he is "really looking forward to the batting challenge in Pakistan" ahead of the three-match Test series, scheduled to kick-off on March 4.

The Pat Cummins-led Australia side will be touring Pakistan towards the end of this month for the first time in over 24 years to play three Tests, three ODIs, and one T20I.

Marnus, who is ranked at number one in the ICC Test batting ranking, has shared a glimpse of his preparation ahead of the historic series.

In a tweet, the star batter said that he is preparing as much as he can for the series.

"Really looking forward to the challenge of batting in Pakistan. Getting in as much preparation as possible," Marnus Labuschagne tweeted.

  • 4-8 Mar – 1st Test, Rawalpindi
  • 12-16 Mar – 2nd Test, Karachi
  • 21-25 Mar – 3rd Test, Lahore
