Former England spinner Monty Panesar has heaped praise on the ongoing seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), saying the quality of cricket has been "top class" in the tournament.

Taking to Twitter, the former spinner hailed the PSL for its scheduling and quality of cricket.

"What a sight for Pakistani fans. Full house at Lahore. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Pakistan Super League (PSL) have come a long way. The scheduling and quality of cricket have been top class," Monty tweeted.

After exciting encounters in the league stage of the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the tournament has entered its climax.

Defending champions Multan Sultans beat Lahore Qalandars by 28 runs in the qualifier yesterday at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Islamabad United will take on Peshawar Zalmi in the first eliminator of the tournament tonight at the same venue.
