Peshawar Zalmi's skipper and left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz has become the first bowler in the history of Pakistan Super League (PSL) to reach the 100 wickets landmark after he took Islamabad United batter Danish Aziz's wicket in the ongoing PSL 2022 clash at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The 36-year-old Wahab has reached the milestone in 75 matches he has played ever since the PSL started in 2016.

He achieved the landmark in the 4.3 over of the United's inning when left-hander Danish nicked his quick and bouncy delivery and the wicket-keeper Mohammad Haris took a simple catch.

With 100 wickets to his name, Wahab is the leading wicket-taker in PSL's history with United's right-arm fast bowler Hasan Ali being second on the list with 78 scalps.
