Quetta Gladiators will take on a formidable Multan Sultans side in their third match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the National Stadium Karachi.

The match starts at 07:30 PM (PST).

The Mohammad Rizwan-led Multan Sultans are off to a roaring start in the seventh edition of the PSL, having won both of their matches comprehensively.

Sultans' opening duo of Rizwan and Shan Masood has been exceptional in the tournament. In the last match, against Lahore Qalandars, Shan and Rizwan scored 83 and 69 runs, respectively.

Apart from the opening duo, Khushdil Shah has been instrumental for Sultans in the first two games with his performance with the bat and ball.

Meanwhile, Gladiators are always a tough side to beat for any team. The 2019-champions are in great touch this seen, but, unfortunately, they lost their first match against Peshawar Zalmi despite an all-around performance from the Purple Force.

Opening batters Ahsan Ali and Will Smeed are remarkable in the powerplay and can easily make the opposition bowlers nervous with their aggressive and attacking batting style.

Head-to-Head:

Gladiators have a slight edge over Sultans as they have won four of the seven matches, while Sultans have only managed to win three.

Talking about the ongoing season, defending champions Multan Sultans have the upper hand, considering their form and a mixture of balance and experience in their squad.
