KARACHI: Lahore Qalandars left-handed batter Fakhar Zaman scored a sensational century to lead his team to a six-wicket win over Karachi Kings, and in the process, he achieved another milestone by completing 1,500 runs in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in 52 innings.
He has become the fourth cricketer to achieve the feat. Prior to him, Babar Azam, Kamran Akmal, and Shoaib Malik have achieved the feat.
This century by was the eleventh ton notched in the history of PSL, as he is the eighth batter to reach the milestone.
Kamran Akmal has scored three and Sharjeel Khan has two centuries under his belt. While, Colin Ingram, Cameron Delport, Rilley Russow, Chris Lynn, and Usman Khawaja have scored a century each.
