Fans on Twitter are tolling Peshawar Zalmi bowlers who faced an absolute brutal onslaught from the Islamabad United openers, Paul Sterling and Alex Hales, as both batters smashed the opposition bowler in a boundary thrilled stand of 112 runs in 9.4 overs.
Zalmi bowlers needed to bowl well in defending the 169-run target against aggressive United batters, but it has turned out to be the opposite outcome as Sterling brought his fifty in just 18 balls with the mammoth strike rate of 245.45, before he was run-out by Wahab Riaz.
Alex Hales has also brought up his in 32 balls with eight fours and one six.
No bowler from Zalmi had an answer to the ferocious hitting from both the openers, as leg-spinner Usman Qadir pacer Sohail Khan and skipper Wahab Riaz were all taken to the cleaners.
Meanwhile, fans on the microblogging website are trolling Zalmi bowlers, and, on the other hand, also praising Sterling's entertaining half-century.
