PSL 7: Anything Mohammad Rizwan touches turns into gold, says Waqar Younis

Former legendary bowler of the Pakistan cricket team Waqar Younis has hailed Multan Sultans' "opening Jori" after their exceptional innings against Lahore Qalandars in the ongoing seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Chasing down Lahore Qalandars' 206-run target, Sultans' opening duo Mohammad Rizwan and Shan Masood were outstanding, scoring 69 and 83 runs, respectively.

Waqar heaped praise on the Sultans' opening duo who are in "rich form".

"Multan Sultan's openers in rich form. Anything Mohammad Rizwan touching nowadays turning into Gold," Waqar tweeted.

"And every time Shan Masood is challenged by the critics, he comes out with a Gem. What an opening Jori," he added.

Multan Sultans are off to a roaring start in PSL 2022, starting their campaign by beating Karachi Kings by seven wickets and then beating a formidable Lahore Qalandars by five wickets to confirm their perfect start to the tournament.

Multan Sultans will lock horns with Quetta Gladiators in their third match of the ongoing PSL at the National Cricket Stadium.
