KARACHI: New Zealand batter Colin Munro has arrived in Karachi to participate in the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The left-handed batter is a crucial member of the PSL franchise Islamabad United.

As per medical panel rules: "If a player had COVID-19 in the last 28 days, you do not need to isolate".

Islamabad United's team management said that according to the rules if someone has been COVID-19 positive during the last 28 days, his isolation is not mandatory.

Munro will be immediately available for team selection, United's statement added.

The aggressive batter had tested positive for COVID-19 during the Big Bash League (BBL).

According to sources, Munro is available for selection but is unlikely to participate in the Islamabad United's against Peshawar Zalmi.
