PSL 7: Good news for Islamabad United as Colin Munro arrives in Karachi

No isolation required for Colin Munro and he will be immediately available for selection

KARACHI: New Zealand batter Colin Munro has arrived in Karachi to participate in the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The left-handed batter is a crucial member of the PSL franchise Islamabad United.

As per medical panel rules: "If a player had COVID-19 in the last 28 days, you do not need to isolate".

Islamabad United's team management said that according to the rules if someone has been COVID-19 positive during the last 28 days, his isolation is not mandatory.

Munro will be immediately available for team selection, United's statement added.

The aggressive batter had tested positive for COVID-19 during the Big Bash League (BBL).

According to sources, Munro is available for selection but is unlikely to participate in the Islamabad United's against Peshawar Zalmi.

Munro has arrived today after a long journey, so he can rest and prepare for the next game, sources added.

Munro's Islamabad United will take on Peshawar Zalmi in the fifth match of the PSL at the National Cricket Stadium Karachi today.
