Quetta Gladiators' Will Smeed wreaked havoc in Karachi as he scored a 62-ball 97 against Peshawar Zalmi in their opening match of the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Will Smeed's outstanding score against Peshawar Zalmi was the second-highest individual score for the Quetta Gladiators on his PSL debut.

He replaced fellow English cricketer James Vince for PSL 2022.

The 20-year-old smashed 11 boundaries and four huge sixes before getting caught out.

The whole cricket fraternity and fans heaped praise on the right-handed batter for his spectacular knock against Peshawar Zalmi.

Smeed announced himself to the PSL in style.

"Wow, what an entrance!," espncricinof tweeted.

Another Twitter user praised Will Smeed and the England cricket team's batting depth.

"Brilliant Debut," tweeted Emmad Hameed.
