UAE-based Galaxy Racer announces investment in Pakistan which will boost country's E-sports gaming industry
In what can be called a huge development for Pakistan's E-sports sector, one of the top E-sports companies across the world, the UAE-based Galaxy Racer, has announced to invest in the country, boosting the gaming industry as a result.
The announcement was made after the company was granted the approval to operate in Pakistan by the Special Technology Zone Authority (STZA) for the new partnership, which can also be called the new era of tech partnership between Pakistan and UAE.
STZA Chairman Amer Hashmi welcomed Galaxy Racer. "We have a very young and dynamic population and STZA is focused on talent development to create opportunities for them to excel as Pakistan enters into the massive gaming and esports industry," Hashmi told the media.
Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Maktoum said that the collaboration begins a new chapter in the history of the UAE and Pakistan relationship.
Galaxy Racer ''is delighted to come to Pakistan and start this journey of technology investment with STZA," he said.
It is pertinent to mention that the biggest E-sports festival in Pakistan was recently concluded called 'Gamers Galaxy'.
