Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes that the club's star footballer Mohamed Salah can continue to perform brilliantly at a consistent level and can maintain the standards which the likes of two footballing giants Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have been doing.
During a press conference ahead of Liverpool's Carabao Cup clash with Arsenal, Klopp was asked about Salah — who will be 30 years old in June — whether he could produce a similar level of results just like Ronaldo and Messi in the latter stages of his career.
"Yes, I think so, replied Klopp according to the statement on Liverpool's official website.
"It's his character, determination and that's the way he trains. His work attitude is incredible, he's the first in and last out, doing the right stuff," he added.
"He knows his body, he knows what to do, he's listening to the experts here and tries to improve all the time. He works so hard for the situation that he's in now and will not waste it by doing less. So yeah, I'm as convinced as you can be."
