Multan Sultans appoint Ottis Gibson as assistant, fast-bowling coach for PSL 7

Gibson at Multan will join Andy Flower who is the head coach and Mushtaq Ahmed who is the spin bowling coach

Pakistan Super League (PSL) defending champions Multan Sultans have appointed former West Indies fast-bowler Ottis Gibson as their team's assistant and fast-bowling coach for the much-awaited seventh edition of the blockbuster league.

At Multan, Gibson will be joining Andy Flower who is the head coach and former Pakistan leggie Mushtaq Ahmed who is the spin bowling coach. 

Sultans also announced the appointment on their official Twitter account. 

Sultans tweeted: "WorldT20 winning Head Coach with the West Indies as well as the former Head Coach of South Africa, with successful stints in the past as the Fast Bowling Coach of England and Bangladesh, Ottis Gibson joins the Sultans as our Assistant and Fast Bowling Coach!"

Gibson, who played two Tests and 15 ODIs for West Indies didn't renew his contract as Bangladesh's bowling coach, while previously, he worked as the head coach of West Indies from 2010-2014. 

With the England team, he worked as the bowling coach in two instances, first from 2007-10 and second, from 2015-17.
