Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi Wednesday visited the National Cricket Academy (NCA), renamed the National High Performance Centre, and had his training session.
Taking to Twitter, Afridi said the visit to the NCA brought many flashbacks and shared some pictures of himself.
"It was nostalgic to visit NCA after a long time. Brought so many memorable flashbacks," Afridi said.
The 46-year-old added that other cities should also have such facilities.
"We should have such facilities all over Pakistan," he added.
"I had my training session without permission. Hope that’s ok?" he concluded.
Afridi will represent Quetta Gladiators for the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), scheduled to kick off on 27 January.
